Itinerary
Day 1 – Thursday 12th February
Your holiday begins with our convenient door-to-door car service transferring you to The Rubens at the Palace Hotel, just minutes away from London Victoria Station. On arrival, you’ll meet your Tour Manager, who will assist with storing your luggage. Fellow members of the group will arrive and a welcome light lunch with tea or coffee will be served in one of the hotel’s luxury dining spaces. Our afternoon excursion is a short walk away at the Kings Gallery. Following this visit, the Tour Manager will assist with check-in at the hotel, and porterage is provided for your luggage. The evening concludes with a 3-course meal located near our hotel.
The King’s Gallery
The King’s Gallery, in the south wing of Buckingham Palace, offers changing exhibitions from the Royal Collection, one of the world’s most significant art collections. First opened to the public in 1962, the gallery was beautifully expanded in 2002 and renamed in 2024 following the accession of King Charles III. Guests can enjoy old master paintings, rare furniture, decorative arts, and historic photography. Fully accessible, the gallery provides a calm and engaging cultural experience in the heart of royal London.

Day 2 – Friday 13th February
Rediscover the elegance of 1920s rail travel aboard the Belmond British Pullman, a masterpiece of design and storytelling. This unforgettable round trip through the picturesque Kent countryside offers a rare chance to travel in true Art Deco style. Settle into the ‘The Golden Age of Travel’ journey, within an exquisitely restored carriage. Your adventure begins with a champagne reception, followed by a five-course seasonal lunch paired with wines selected by the train’s sommelier. Vintage glamour surrounds you: glittering marquetry, silk lampshades, and plush upholstery, all while views of rolling green fields drift past your window. Midway, enjoy a short stop where local performers entertain and regional refreshments are served on the platform. Then, with coffee and petit fours in hand, relax as the British Pullman makes its graceful return to Victoria Station. This is more than travel - it’s time travel, wrapped in a celebration of style, fine dining and impeccable service.

Day 3 – Saturday 14th February
After breakfast, you have free time to spend as you wish, pop to the Buckingham Palace gift shop, have a morning stroll or relax in the hotel, it’s your choice. Later, the Tour Manager will assist you with check-out and arrange for your luggage to be securely stored. Our farewell group lunch at the nearby Bbar Restaurant includes a two-course meal with tea or coffee. After lunch, the Tour Manager will accompany you back to the hotel reception to collect your luggage. From there, your door-to-door chauffeur service will take you home.
