Itinerary

Day 1 – Wednesday 24th December – Christmas Eve 

Arriving by door to door car, you will be greeted by Tour Managers, who will be with you throughout your stay. Refreshments will be served in a relaxed atmosphere whilst mingling with friends old and new. Actor and comedian, Tony Harris, will join us and give an interactive and entertaining talk on the ‘Origins of Words and Phrases’. Tony’s skill at engaging the audience, whilst sharing knowledge in a light-hearted and fun way ensures this will be more than just a talk! Our 3-course Festive dinner will be in the Bulstrode Suite. On this and every night, dinner includes two glasses of house wine, small beers or soft drinks. For those who wish to attend the midnight service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle there will be transport provided. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served upon return. 

Day 2 – Thursday 25th December - Christmas Day 

Christmas Day will start with what has become a tradition and a much-loved affair - a performance by vocalist Tony Jacobs, and one of the UK’s great pianists Sandra Lambert. In high demand, Sandra has played in prestigious venues including 10 Downing Street and Buckingham Palace as well as tours with stars such as Helen Shapiro. Tony and Sandra make an amazing duo with a complimentary skill set, and their performance always leaves us in high spirits for a memorable day! They celebrate songwriters and performers including George Gershwin, Al Jolson, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern and others. Songs and tunes include: ‘Tea For Two’, ‘Let’s Face The Music And Dance’, ‘Isn’t This A Lovely Day (To Be Caught In The Rain)’, ‘It Had To Be You’, ‘They Can’t Take That Away From Me’, ‘Feed The Birds’, and many more. The show is followed by a Prosecco and canapé reception and a 5-course Christmas day lunch in the Beeches Restaurant Garden Room (menu enclosed). After lunch, we can relax to watch the King’s Christmas Day message on large screen TV, before your Tour Managers take on the role of Quizmasters for an enjoyable quiz. Later, Christmas Cake will be served with tea or coffee. During a relaxing evening, following the light supper, popular movies will be shown and an opportunity to enjoy the games/puzzles. 

Day 3 – Friday 26th December - Boxing Day 

Today will start with magician Christopher Howell presenting close-up magic and his parlour magic show. He presents incredible magic with great charm. He is a Member of the Magic Circle who has trained for his craft around the world. Christopher is based in the UK but has performed from Cairo to San Francisco, as well as for thousands more worldwide in his online interactive show. He has appeared for celebrities and starred in commercial campaigns. He also has created a comedy musical magic show called RABBITS OUT OF THE HAT which has toured the UK in 2025 and featured this year at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at The Pleasance. He has performed on such prestigious stages as The Magic Castle in Hollywood, The Wintergarten in Berlin, and The Hackney Empire. After lunch, we visit the Theatre Royal Windsor to be seated in the best Royal Stalls for the pantomime ‘Cinderella’. We return to the hotel where we have our 3-course dinner with a 3/3/3 menu choice. In the evening we can watch a classic movie, play cards or Scrabble, do jigsaws, or relax in the lounge bar. 

Day 4 – Saturday 27th December  

The finale to our Christmas break will be with outstanding vocalist Tony Monro, who will provide an eclectic set. Tony will entertain us with a performance that is a tribute to many of the great male legends, presenting songs from Frank Sinartra such as ‘Come Fly with Me’, Neil Sidaka’s ‘Laughter in the Rain’, Matt Monroe’s ‘From Russia with Love and ‘Quando Quando Quando’ by Englebert Humperdinck to name but a few. The show is guaranteed to bring back fond memories, and entertainment to get the feet tapping, hands clapping and maybe even a dance on our final morning. Afterwards we will enjoy ourtwo-course Farewell Lunch that follows, bringing the Christmas holiday to an end.
